We have our latest author event scheduled for Monday: a launch party and booksigning for the original anthology, THE CHANGE, edited by S.M. Stirling and set in his "Emberverse" universe.

Hi! I've never used this, in fact I created an account just to leave this comment. I just wanted to tell you I have only too much respect and admiration for you. Not only are you a wicked amazing author, you are dedicated to so many other things and I can imagine it gets very stressful. Keep up the amazing work you do, and ignore the internet's endless "slow author" jabs. You're just great and O hope you see this. Im here in Colorado and if you ever stop by within these borders, I'm going to be one of the first in line.

Enjoy the evening, and ignore any comments that imply (or more!) that you shouldn't enjoy it -- while some people think that you shouldn't waste time with reading, movies, interacting with fans, breathing, etc., the majority of us are thrilled to hear of these bits of "normal" life! I can't make it (transcontinental flights are a bit much for an evening), but I'm thrilled this is happening and VERY jealous, since I've been a fan of Mr. Stirling for years!
