At the Cocteau

We have a couple of interesting, offbeat movies at the Jean Cocteau Cinema this week.

SPRING is a romantic horror movie that's won all sorts of acclaim on the festival circuit.

And then there's KUMIKO THE TREASURE HUNTER, which is... kind of hard to characterize.

Check them out. I intend to.

See you at the movies.

I've heard nothing but great things about Kumiko The Treasure Hunter! I'm a big big fan of Nathan Zellner, one half of the Zellner brothers who wrote, directed, and produced it. I definitely need to watch it soon.

I saw Spring, it's pretty good. A well crafted horror love story.

Been trying to get to Kumiko up here in Portland for two weeks! Curious to hear what you think of it.

I'm sorry this is off topic. I work for SLP's and Audiologist and there is a continuing debate about Hodor. Does he have Aphasia and if so is be based on someone you know in real life who suffers from Aphasia?
