I said it last time, I'll say it again: people in the area, don't miss this chance to meet Peter S. Beagle. Not just because he's a fantastic storyteller, in writing and in the flesh, who will easily charm entire audiences from the moment he starts talking. But also because he's a wonderful human being, and you'll be richer for the encounter. Trust me. :)
He's one of my very favourite authors of all time (along with you, Mr. Martin), and I'd love to be able to meet him in person. Alas, getting to Arizona next week can't happen (unless we win the lottery!!!!) - perhaps he's thinking of heading to Victoria, British Columbia, the week after next, where we'll be visiting for a week? Yeah, thought not; I can but hope for the future!

Thank you!
It's rather crazy, I work in media, ON the news side and it's hard to believe someone intentionally fabricating something like that. But then again look at Brian Williams.
Another thing which grabbed me was comments made by Nikolaj Waldau, the Kingslayer himself saying:
"...I think he's written one of them now. I don't know when it comes out, but I'd assume soon." - (Actually reported by more reputable sources)
So, both stories appearing within a couple days of each other tricked my brain into thinking they may have been connected in some fashion.
Moving on I've always wondered what goes into the process of deciding what the cover of each book is going to be. Is that decision solely yours? Not yours at all? or is it a shared privilege? Further has there been a decision made for the cover of WINDS?
And also I've noticed every character in the "A SONG.." series whose name is Adamm is a badass, dashing warrior type. I appreciate that tremendously!

No publisher in their right mind would release two major books by the same author at the same time.
