HAPPY EASTER! 13masquerade April 20 2014, 13:18:10 UTC
~Honestly, if I was closer to you, I'd probably hang out at the Cinema. Especially on days I don't go to work. The "Authors" are such a temptation to listen to..Perhaps next time.. :)

*Cheers* :)

Sounds Really Awesome calebespall April 21 2014, 00:24:27 UTC
I wish I could attend. Unfortunately, I have to go on with school for 2 more months. Just finished Fevre Dream over this weekend, and it was REALLY good. Abner Marsh was such a cool character, and so was Joshua York. I also finished The Hedge Knight, and started on The Sworn Sword. It is good to get back into Westeros for a while. I wish I could to go the Jean Cocteau, and if I am ever near Santa Fe, I will be sure to go and check it out. Happy Easter!

Jaime's changes in Breaker of Chains ext_2546911 April 21 2014, 16:52:40 UTC
Hello Mr Martin,

Could you tell us what you think about the altar sex scene between Jaime and Cersei in last night episode, please ?
Many readers (and viewers) don't understand what happened and why they changed this sex scene into... a rape scene. Does they consult you before doing it ?

Thank you.

PS : Sorry for the bad english, it's not my language.

I started reading Anne Perry when I was in high school. I remember when the first Monk book came out (I was in college) as I had met her a couple of times by then (I had been working in mystery bookstores). I remember when the news broke about the New Zealand murder. I saw her in San Diego shortly thereafter and made sure to not mention it. Since then I've gotten behind in reading her books, but considering I've been reading her for thirty years and she's still going, this puts her in with Sue Grafton, Bill Pronzini, and Marcia Muller as mystery writers I'm still reading. I'm so glad you'll be the one interviewing her.
