We've got a great lineup of scary stuff coming up for Halloween at the Jean Cocteau Cinema.

Including a real treat for H.P. Lovecraft fans (like me):

Is there any way this will be available on DVD or for download to a wider audience? I'd love to see it, but it's my understanding that it's only playing in New Mexico.

I tried to reply to this but the journal settings spammed it. Google "HP Lovecraft Historical Society" and poke around their site until you find the store. They do have a DVD and Blu ray release - I think for the USA region DVD player.

I'm half world away from there, but I would like so much to be at Cocteau!

Absolutely! Me, too! (Okay, different spot on the world, but wish I could be at Cocteau for this!)

Absolutely wonderful film! A few friends and I were lucky to catch one of the few UK screenings in an actual cinema, and I cannot gush enough about how fun and well done it was.
I hope this brings in many many adoring eyes (...on several people, not necessarily one creature).

This is a brilliant movie, both as an authentic homage to the horror movies of the 1930s and as an adaptation and development of the original story. It's available from the HP Lovecraft Historical Society website, http://www.cthulhulives.org/store/store.lasso
:)

Though I'd sooner you saw it at the Cocteau.
