This totally reminded me about my recent vocabulary experience with some coworkers... I knew a bunch of them but not all. Maybe despite what my colleagues think, I may need to brush up on my vocab.

I really do read alot, not super deep books or manuals or the like but I have always thought of myself as having a fairly decent vocabulary. Perhaps if they were used in sentences instead of just a list I would have been able to derive their meanings...

Course that begs the next thing that has been plaguing my mind. I get on her about her homework and grades yet I don't even understand half of it. Progress reports come out tomorrow... what do you suggest if the grades aren't so hot? Keeping in mind that she just started as a junior at our high school.. transferring from the one in Athol
