FMMP: The Hobbit, Unexpected Journey

I recently broke my moratorium on theater-going for The Hobbit. I've had a terrible thought that has ruined all of my possible explanations for these crazy girls. Maybe one of them's autistic.

Not, I think, that that's any excuse for being rude. I just find it difficult to joke about now.

Yeah, I'm sure she must have been. But she didn't become autistic in that theater. She (and her companion) went in knowing full well she was. Hence the thing that considerate people do, which is not sit right in the middle of a bunch of people (for a nearly 3-hour movie, no less) and hope for the best. Either sit at the end (or near the front, where there were tons of empty seats) ready for a quick exit, or wait for DVD.

I probably sound heartless, but this is just common sense consideration. When I was supposed to go to a movie with Alicia and she got stuck in traffic and was texting me incessantly, I didn't sit in the middle of the audience. I stayed off to the side, and eventually left the theater so as not to disturb anyone. These are the rules of a civilized society.
