I saw that performance! Which is strange because I rarely ever watch Jay Leno, but I happened to that night. 30 Seconds to Mars ain't exactly my cup of tea, but I certainly acknowledge that Jared Leto is a pretty man, especially with eyeliner.

I went to see 30 Seconds to Mars three years ago because I just couldn't believe Jared Leto could pull it off. They were fantastic live! BOth of their albums are awesome; I recommend each of them!

Do you like the band Cold? They're dark too, but a little heavier at times. My second favorite band after the Cure! If you use Soulseek, add me--I'm rowdyruby on there. I can give you lots of different songs that you might like:)

Figures. Every time I think I discover something "new," I discover I'm just following in your footsteps. You are just too hip for me, girl.

I believe I have a burned copy of Cold's first CD somewhere. I do like them, but they are a little too heavy sometimes for me. Never heard of this Soulseek... will investigate later. Esp since our tastes are so obviously in tune with each other (no pun intended). Thx : )

I'm not hip, I swear! I'm lame. The only reason why I know so much about music/bands is because for a very long time, I wanted to get into the biz, either by having a record store, a label, or being a promoter, and so I subscribe to a ton of music magazines. So I get tipped off a little bit before MTV and radio (which sometimes never plays the bands I like at all). I was listening to the Panic! At the Disco demos over a year ago and now they've exploded and are even up for several VMAs.

But I only know these things because I read about it or because other people online tip me off.

I'm telling you, you have good taste in music! If you're ever looking for something new, ask me and I'll send you some mp3s--it's my favorite thing to do!

I'm always open to new stuff (as long as it sounds like the stuff I already like, if that makes sense). I went to soulseek.com but they want money from me. >: ( Have you ever used Megaupload.com? They let you share files for free. I also download lots of stuff from Limewire if you wanted to just send me some recs. Either way, I'd be your best friend forever!

I'm glad things are going so well at your new job. That's really sweet, what you did with Beanz. I've always perceived you to be someone with a strong, nuturing instinct. I bet that dog knew it and that's why he laid in your arms. :) I'm sorry I haven't been commenting in your journal much lately. I've just had a lot of crap going on in RL and I hardly go to my Friends list anymore. When I am on the computer I'm on Myspace about 80 zillion times more than I am on LJ, so it gets neglected. But I am sorry. I'll try to comment on your entries more often (except tomorrow I'm flying to PA for a week. After that, though).

I knew you'd figure out it was me. You're smart that way.

It's not just you. I'm noticing more and more lately that I've got lots of friends who throw temper tantrums if you don't shower them with attention, but who never return the favor. If you only have a "friends list" to get people to comment on your own journal without reading theirs, that's mighty selfish and I don't generally like selfish people (again, this is a general "you," not YOU).

Thanks for the clip. I can't get enough of the Jared-on-Jared boytouching scene.

I understand what you're saying. I never meant to give that impression. I do read all of your entries, from start to finish. I love reading your writing. When you leave a comment on one of my entries I always read it, and if I don't reply it's not because I'm trying to be mean or anything. I just get distracted easily and often can't even stay focused long enough to leave a comment. But I don't throw a tantrum, yknow? I admit I've deleted and re-posted some of my entries in a bid to get comments, but I've only done that with entries that I thought were really important. I'm not going to do it anymore, though. I am about the farthest thing from selfish, however, and I truly am sorry that I've been coming off the way. I'll try to be a better LJ friend from now on.

No, you don't throw tantrums, but others do. And I'm glad to hear you read my posts. I'd like to think people do but when you're greeted with a wall of silence, it's hard to be sure. And don't feel obligated to now comment on everything. Just stop commenting on nothing (if that makes sense)! Thanks, Amy.
