I'm young! Well, someone recently told me that 24 was technically in the mid-20s range which is a little depressing but I've dealt with it, haha. My problem is that I look 10 years younger and feel 10 years older. What the hell. I'm still a student but have been completely on my own for some time now (longer than just a few years). I'm already tired of being a grown-up with a stressful life and I should really just now be starting my adult life. I'm an independent person but, damn, can't a girl get a break. I haven't even started a career or bought my first house and I am more than ready for retirement. I try to do go out and have fun with friends, work-out, etc...but all fun things are difficult to do because I'm so tired from all the school work and real work and home work....work work work.

So, my question is when did life for people become work? We think we are the most advanced of all the species and that might very well be true but then how come the "less intelligent" species actually live life and people spend the majority of time worrying about how to maintain their lives????

It's strange to feel so fortunate and unfortunate to live in this day and age and even this country. Just about anything a person could want is readily available and in a variety of colors but all for a price. So I have an infinite number of choices but everything (literally everything, even nature) can be just out of reach because of green paper and the old bald men that control the system. Animals don't have to pay for their food or shelter and yet we think we are smarter? It is now possible to become anything you could ever want to be, learn about anything, be anyone, so much so that now no one really knows what to want for themselves and life. What is most unfortunate is that people have hobbies and work but rarely are the two ever the same. One big reason people are so unhappy with their lives---work is typically for money only and then AFTER you have paid all your bills, settled all debts, taken care of your family and saved for retirement can something fun happen (and that's only if you have enough money left over, which one usually does not). And you know that somewhere in this great expanse of a world people do not live in such a way, problem is you can't afford to get there.
