The windmills from the air make for an interesting shot. It's surprising how much of them you can make out even though you're so far up. The one of the mountains is gorgeous.

Those windmills are HUGE. My husband Bob worked on some of them years ago and we've driven by pieces of them being driven out through the gorge to the eastern side of Oregon and Washington. It's mind boggling how huge they are. And yeah, I'm rather mesmerized by that shot myself.

Q: Is electricity by windmills big in the States?

I don't know about elsewhere, but windmills are getting huge in the central and eastern part of Oregon and Washington due to the frequently of ongoing, strong winds there.
