Photos :: Timothy Lake & Mt Hood

Last weekend Bob, Tim and I went camping at Timothy Lake at the base of Mt Hood.   It was fun!   I took a lot of photos of Tim on the the lake (Tim on Timothy Lake, ha!)  And I set up on the shore just before sunset to capture Mt Hood & the lake during the sunset.   There was another photographer who had the same thought so we were both armed with

i always enjoy your pictures, so clear and your view shines through. The mountain is absolutely gorgeous, I love the picture with the pink tint on it.

I *love* the Bob perspective. I wish I could claim it was a well thought out and composed shot. But nope! Bob was lazing around and I had my wide angle lens and was trying to get a shot of Tim, so the only place I could "put" Bob so I could "get" Tim, was in the lower right corner. Later when I saw the shot on my computer I thought - wow, that's a great perspective (kinda wish I had planned it that way!)

Remind me to tell you of the Epic Sunset Photo-taking Odyssey (ESPO(tm)). ha! Talk about having my obsessive-compulsive competitive streak tweeked. It was rather ridiculous (even if it was fun.) I'm referring to the fact that there were two photographers on the shoreline shooting that time. The whole time the reasonable voice in my head (*I hear you snorting at me*) was trying to talk me down, but I was having none of it.
