Jared art...

Man I love my drawing pad and Photoshop. And today I went ahead and ordered Illustrator as well (I had a huge discount coming to me from previous purchases--so I took advantage of that plus a sale that I couldn't resist.)

I used my drawing pad today and made a "cartoon" version of one of my Jared photos from LA Con 2009. It's so fun what you can ( Read more... )

Thanks! I can't seem to detach myself from my recent Jared obsession. And I'm supposed to be a Jensen girl.

I'm the opposite, but I often find myself having Jensen-crushes. It's good to love them both best on occasion. :)

Yeah. I've always been bi-bro--but Jensen was my first "obsession" in this fandom. But since I've met Jared in person a few times now--there's no one, I believe, on this earth who could resist the force of his personality in person. And add to that his...um...other characteristics since he...um...matured...um...yeah....

Love the texture you used.

Thanks!

Yeah, ever since I learned about what you can do with textures in Photoshop it's like I stumbled into a free candy store or something. Seems like I can never use just one. I always end up with some kind of combination of three or so thrown in.

I so love Photoshop. It's not very noobie friendly, but once you play with it for awhile it seems like there are so many new things you can learn and do--and there's always more!

That's for sure. I have the program but have only delved into it to fix the colors of my photos and crop them and all that.
It looks like you've got a great hang on it!

If...if it's not too much, could you possibly, maybe, make me an icon I've been aching for?
No worries if you can't! :)

Oh! I LOVE requests because it gives me focus. What do you want?

Warning--I'm not that great at icons. They are so friggin' small that they drive me nuts because what I see in the bigger version I work on often doesn't show up well in the smaller and then I get frustrated! BUT, I love to work on them despite this...

K!!! This is incredible and the drawing of Jensen too!! You do all of this on photoshop? I can't even fathom that since stick figures are my "forte."

Amazing!!!! :)

You see the thing with Photoshop is that it helps to compensate for any mess ups. They are so quickly and easily erased and redone -- or covered up by textures or other tricks. It's why I love the software SO much.

Thanks!

Oh...and I just "fixed" the Jensen one. I couldn't figure out why I was unhappy with it and one quick tweek in Photoshop made it 100% better. Still like the Jared one better though.

That's just gorgeous--but shouldn't his hair be darker?

Love, Robin

Thanks. Yeah the hair should be darker. When I applied the texture to the piece, the hair lightened and I haven't gone back and fixed that yet. Good eyes!
