Misha Collins Interview (non-spoilery excerpts)

Sep 23, 2008 16:55

Even though I'm working to stay spoiler free, I could not resist opening the link to the "first" interview with Misha Collins about his Supernatural role. I really didn't find it to be that spoilery myself.

The interview is by Cynthia at SFUniverse and can be found here.

(damn LJ and it's recent problems with lj-cuts....)

So help me this LJ cut had better work the 100th time around. Under the cut for non-spoilery excerpts. You should be okay if you've seen 4.01 )

Thanks for the interview info, glad to hear another person saying how welcoming the SPN set is.

I love hearing about how well all the cast and crew get along on SPN. I used to watch Grey's Anatomy quite a bit (although I wasn't anywhere near hooked on it), but when I started reading stuff about the performers not getting along, it just kinda lost something for me.

Which is weird when you think about it. It really shouldn't be about the people portraying the characters. But perhaps I've been spoiled b SPN.

Thank you SOOO much for putting the non-spoilery parts up! <3

And, ha. I love that the boys' rep precedes them so!

You're welcome! I love that everyone who visits/works on the set says the same thing about how great it is.

OK he sounds absolutely adorable! Thanks for posting the bits!

There's just something comforting about knowing the people working on a show get along so well and that they work so hard for it. I just feel that when I know there is trouble behind the scenes it's hard for me to get into the characters or story because I'm feeling like since they hate each other that they really don't want to be there so why should I invest anything in this since it'll probably go under anyway. And seeing how much the boys enjoy working with each other and everyone around them, and knowing how much hard work they put into it makes me appreciate it that much more. And J&J's close friendship outside the show I think really helps them to get that strong brotherly bond to come across as almost genuine.
