This story is super long in my opinion. Therefore, I wasted precious hours compiling this for anyone that feels like reading it, because yes, believe it or not, I'm actually a little organized.

Great Romances of the 21st Century (freshman year):
Early Life - High School:
Kurt and Blaine have been JUST friends up until their first year of college
They were SOPHOMORES when Kurt transferred to Dalton (I was dumb and was hoping Kurt was a sophomore all this time so he could be on Glee longer *sighs*)
As far as episodes are concerned, "Original Songs" never happened.
Kurt transferred back to McKinley in his sophomore year
Blaine transferred to McKinley at the start of junior year
Kurt would playfully ask him out all the time, but Blaine would say no. They were never serious about it, even though Kurt wanted to be.
Blaine went out with a guy on his soccer team named Scott
Blaine and Kurt went to prom as "just friends"
At the beginning of summer before college, Kurt gave a blow-job to a guy named Kyle and felt really disappointed in himself for doing so, but then got over it.
Great Romances story in a nutshell:
It's the first year of college for Kurt and Blaine (they're roommates)
They go to Murphy College: School of Fine & Performing Arts that's a little over two hours from Lima
Blaine is majoring in Creative Writing; Kurt is majoring in Interior Decorating and minoring in Fashion Design
Kurt meets Nick (Warbler), turns out Nick goes there too (whoa! no way, bro!)
Nick is a photography major and is extremely rich and also extremely good-looking
Nick asks Kurt out, Kurt loses his virginity to Nick, they date for 5 weeks until Blaine realizes he totally wants to go out with Kurt
Drama happens/angsty times, Blaine is all emo and cynical in his "platonic Kurt journal"
Nick breaks up with Kurt because he knows Kurt still likes Blaine
Jeff comes to visit, Nick takes his virginity after Kurt and Blaine make out
Jeff has already been in love with Nick for like two years since he was a sophomore at Dalton and in the Warblers with Nick (who's a sophomore in college while the other three boys are freshmen)
Blaine and Kurt have a lot of sexual bickering and have sex a lot, it kind of becomes a problem
Blaine almost has sex with his TA because he's mad at Kurt (Kurt and Nick wanted to make Blaine jealous so they took pictures of half-naked Kurt on Nick's phone for shits and giggles)
Nick thinks he might be in love with Jeff, so he tells him so (he more just really likes him but wants to make Jeff happy)
they all go sledding in Lima over break with New Directions crew(yayyy!)
New Years Eve party at Thad's, everyone gets crunk, Nick still has feelings for Kurt but oh well
In the spring, Kurt and Blaine sing a duet and then Blaine sings to Kurt and everything is all happy in the end
Oh, and during this whole thing, Blaine's been writing a "book" called Great Romances of the 21st Century which is mainly all about him and Kurt and how their lives are connected la.
The story ends when it's the night before they leave school to go back home for the summer
Summary of Chapters
Chapter I: Talking about how Kurt and Blaine have been bffs and Blaine is basically a third son to Burt. Blaine loves Clark Gable and screwball comedies, w/e. At the end of the chapter, Blaine kisses Kurt just to see what Kurt will do, and Kurt pretends that it meant nothing, when obviously it means everything to him.
Chapter II: Blaine actually believes that Kurt thought their kiss was nothing, but now he thinks he might like Kurt. Kurt is super confused and pissed at Blaine for always being able to get under his skin. At the end of the chapter, Blaine decides not to tell Kurt how he may be feeling, because he believes that now in college, Kurt has the ability to meet a nice guy that won't break his heart how Blaine has managed to do for the last three years.
Chapter III: Blaine hooks Kurt up on a blind-date with his friend named Troy, hoping it doesn't go well, because now Blaine's becoming more aware of his feelings for Kurt. After Kurt gets out from a shower, Blaine is caught staring at Kurt's hip bones while Kurt's only wearing a towel. Kurt jokingly tells Blaine to stop staring, and Blaine's embarrassed that he saw so he says "I wasn't looking, Kurt. God, why would I?", and it pisses Kurt off, making him decide for good that he's done with Blaine (lawl okay).
The next morning, Kurt's having a lovely time looking hot and in one of his favorite outfits, and then as he's walking back to his dorm, he sees Nick Owens (not his real last name if the character has one, but it's my head!canon *shrug*). Nick and Kurt talk, they walk to get coffee and go to the movies. Nick is a breath of fresh air for Kurt as they catch up from their Dalton days. Nick admits to having liked Kurt during his first week of Dalton. They eventually go back to Kurt and Blaine's dorm where Blaine ends up angsting on the inside, and Nick spends the night and makes out with Kurt in Kurt's bed to which Blaine hears and angsts hard.
Chapter IV: Blaine starts angsting in his journal more and starts secretly hating Nick. Nick asked Kurt out a few days before Halloween. While they're making out, Kurt's just thinking about all his sexual Blaine fantasies. He starts rubbing Nick through his jeans but feels awkward about it. Kurt knows Nick is good for him and he does really like him, but there's just some left-over Blaine feelings in his system still.
There's a Halloween party. Nick dresses as Spider-Man, Kurt's Robin, and Blaine's Superman (it was hero/sidekick themed). Blaine gets emo and leaves early to go to a different party, Kurt ends up losing his virginity to Nick on the early morning of November 1st but will forever claim he lost it "the night of Halloween". Nick starts realizing that Kurt still likes Blaine by the amount of time he spends still talking about him.
Chapter V: Blaine starts writing Great Romances of the 21st Century, and it can be almost too easily assumed that the story is about Blaine and when Kurt started ruining his life. Nick comes over to the dorm and confronts Blaine about his Nick-hating. Nick tells Blaine that he knows Blaine's in love with Kurt but if that's the case, then Nick will just have to try harder to keep Kurt because he really likes him. Blaine acts like it's no big deal. Blaine plots to steal Kurt from him.
Kurt gives Nick a blow-job. Nick thinks Kurt is the shit up until Kurt mentions Blaine's name in the middle of sexy times. Nick starts realizing more that he might actually lose Kurt to Blaine.
Blaine has plotted to have Kurt star as his lead actor in a music video he has to do for his film class. He's chosen to use the song "Clark Gable" by The Postal Service, which he thinks is perfect enough for what he wants to accomplish. He dresses up in a suit, gets his hair cut to look how it used to in his Dalton days and swoons Kurt by kissing him "for the music video that doesn't have a song picked out yet but it will..." Kurt doesn't want to like Blaine again, but he definitely does.
A day before Thanksgiving break, Blaine has Kurt watch his music video and Kurt gets upset that the lyrics fit their situation and that Blaine purposely tried to swoon him. They get into a fight, Blaine tells him that Kurt doesn't love Nick, that he really loves Blaine. He tries to get him to make out with him, but Kurt won't and instead runs to Nick's apartment.
At the end of the chapter, Nick tells Kurt they should take a break since Kurt is obviously still in love with Blaine, and now that Blaine likes Kurt back, Nick thinks it'd be best if Kurt gives it a shot with Blaine in hopes that he'll eventually want Nick back.
Chapter VI: Over Thanksgiving break, Kurt still won't talk to Blaine after what happened in their dorm a few days prior. However, he masturbates to Blaine in his room before Thanksgiving dinner, obviously still wanting him.
Rachel, Mercedes, and Jeff come up to see the boys (Jeff goes to see Nick, though). Rachel and Blaine have talk time and she tells Blaine to go after Kurt.
Nick's really pissed that he broke up with Kurt, but he just really didn't want Kurt to dump him, so he had to be the one to do it first. Jeff comes and sees him, and Nick feels like Jeff still really likes Nick.
They go to a frat party on the weekend, everyone getting extremely obliterated. Kurt teases Blaine, but they end up making out hardcore on the couch. Nick gets upset and pretends to like Jeff more than he does just so he can hopefully somehow make Kurt jealous. He takes Jeff's virginity in order to get back at Kurt for making out with Blaine. Go figure.
Mercedes and Rachel cock-blocked the night before, but after they leave in the morning, Kurt gives Blaine a blow-job, and then afterwards Kurt finds out that Nick had sex with Jeff.
Chapter VII(A): Continuing from the end of the last chapter, Kurt gets really upset that Nick acted like a dick and took Jeff's virginity "just because [he] could", and so he goes back to his and Blaine's dorm to rant and hate life.
While Blaine's out getting Kurt food, Kurt stumbles upon Blaine's "completely platonic Kurt journal" and finds out that Blaine called him a bitch in it plenty of times. Kurt yells at him, but then they have sex for the first time and it's awesome likes fireworks or somethin'.
Chapter VII(B): Nick has Kurt do a photo shoot for a photography assignment. Kurt wants to cry because he realizes Nick still likes him and Kurt's hurting him by being with Blaine now (even though Blaine hasn't asked him out yet). Nick feels bad and tells Kurt he'll make sure Blaine asks him out soon.
Blaine asks Kurt out by singing Bright Eyes' "First Day of My Life" on guitar in their dorm room. After this, they start having sex a lot.
Nick and Blaine bro-chill while working out, and then Blaine asks Nick to go buy condoms with him because he's too embarrassed to do it by himself. Nick ends up politely violating Blaine at the drugstore in front of the cashier, making a scene out of buying the condoms to purposely embarrass Blaine, though it's all in good fun. At the end, Nick finally decides that Blaine is a good guy for Kurt to be dating and he feels okay with them two.
Chapter VIII(A): Blaine and Nick are acting like BFFs and go to spy on Kurt in his English class. Blaine sees that Kurt is harmlessly flirting with his professor, but it still pisses him off and makes him jealous. The next day, Blaine starts paying more attention to film TA named Kyle Wright. He justifies wanting to have sex with Kyle by knowing that Kurt still probably thinks about Nick sometimes.
A few days before winter break starts, Blaine exchanges email addresses with Kyle in order to send Kyle his "next film project". Later, Nick and Kurt are hanging out, talking about Blaine and Jeff, and then Nick pushes Kurt into the snow on accident. They go back to Nick's apartment where Kurt changes out of his shirt and lies half-naked on Nick's bed. They talk about how Blaine's jealousy is amusing, so Nick takes a picture of Kurt shirtless with his phone and on his bed and they send it to Blaine to see what he'll do.
Blaine ends up getting super jealous and heads to Kyle's apartment to hang out to get Kurt and Nick off his mind since he believes they just had sex. He ends up drinking a little and starts making out with Kyle, but then it just all feels wrong and Blaine knows he still is in love with Kurt and wants to work out whatever problems they may be having.
He goes back to his and Kurt's dorm to yell at Kurt, but then Kurt tells him it was all just a joke and he apologies for hurting Blaine's feelings. Blaine feels like a royal idiot and confesses to Kurt that he made out with his film TA. Kurt doesn't forgive him, calls Blaine immature (even if him and Nick trying to make Blaine jealous was immature) and tells him that they're "taking a break". Consequently, that night, Kurt gets drunk at a party and wants to have sex with Nick, but then, of all times to make up his mind, Nick's head decides that he's interested in Jeff suddenly, so he tells Kurt no. Denied.
Chapter VIII(B): To make up for making out with his TA, Blaine interrupts Kurt's fashion illustration class by singing and playing "This Love" by Maroon 5 on guitar. The two are finally having a nice day together after the serenading song, and they go to a candy shop and act like five years old very enjoyably so.
Nick goes to Jeff's house to tell him how he feels, that now he finally does want to be with him. Meanwhile, Jeff has been trying to mentally prepare himself for Nick to tell him that sleeping with him was a mistake and that maybe they can't even be friends. When it comes to Nick, Jeff gets irrationally insecure and emotional. Nick fixes that, at least for this day.
Kurt and Blaine buy chocolate fudge dip to coax their dicks with it, but Kurt ends up just eating it all out of the jar by itself. Blaine eventually persuades Kurt into sexy times, though, and they have sex the night before winter exams.
Santana has a holiday party with her girlfriend named Lilly that she goes to school with, inviting all of New Directions and the few Warblers that she stayed somewhat in touch with. Later on in the night, Kurt and Blaine go for a "romantic winter walk" and act fluffy, and then Nick and Jeff also go for a winter walk and act fluffy towards one another. Christmas Eve is the next night.
Chapter IX(A): Blaine and Rachel come over for the Hudmel's Christmas Eve dinner. Both couples (Kurt/Blaine and Finn/Rachel) fall asleep by the fire as Burt and Carole prepare dinner.
A few days into winter break, some of the Warblers and New Directions go sledding and some of the boys build a snowman with a penis to which Kurt is thoroughly unamused. Kurt gets Blaine a bunch of clothes for Christmas and Blaine gets Kurt a keyboard so they can play a show together up at school sometime. On another day of break, they have sexy times in Kurt's room with The Lion King playing in the background so they don't get caught by Burt.
Nick, Kurt, and Blaine are all cuddling in Kurt's bed. Blaine suggests that they have a threesome some time, and the suggestion isn't denied but not surely accepted. Kurt and Blaine discover that Nick is so rich that he has horses. They are baffled and fall madly in love with the idea of riding horses around Nick's awesome mansion house. They try to get sexy times on, so Nick, being "The Un-blocker of Cocks", goes downstairs and introduces himself to Burt for the first time. They get along swimmingly, mostly because Nick's a decent liar and says Kurt's never done any of the things Nick knows he has.
Chapter IX(B): Thad has a New Year's Eve party for everyone. Kurt gets drunk quickly and flirts with Nick. Nick is starting to get reminded of his feelings for Kurt so he goes upstairs to escape the party. Nick and Jeff have a good talk that ends in endgame Niff.
As the party goes on, Blaine and Nick participate in "No Shirt O'Clock when it hits 11pm. To get them to stop being obnoxious drunks, Kurt makes out with Jeff. Nothing is really felt between the two boys, but Nick and Blaine sure appreciated it.
Kurt and Blaine go to have sex in Thad's sister's room, but for a while Kurt can't find lube or a condom. The crisis is quickly resolved. They have New Year's sex.
Second semester of the first year is a lot harder and there's less time for sexy times. Plans for the summer are high-lighted, and towards the end, Kurt and Blaine sing a duet at Breadstix for everyone, The Hush Sound's "Where We Went Wrong". Blaine then surprises Kurt by singing "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King. Blaine's parents come up to him at the end and congratulate their son for sounding amazing, making Blaine feel uplifted that his parents are finally showing that they truly accept him more.
The story ends with Blaine finishing the last page of Great Romances of the 21st Century, where Kurt and Blaine are cuddling in Kurt's bed for the last time before having to drive home the next morning for summer vacation. Blaine playfully wants Kurt to tell him he loves him, so Kurt says his own variation of the phrase.
