After a (sortof) week in the Outerbanks, I have returned home. I was incredibly happy to reunite with Pete, but it all felt too abrupt. Like ... "Here's home ... get back to work, say goodbye to the best person ever, and return to the mundane" ... all in less than 24 hours. I really do...

...but maybe tomorrow, I am feeling a bit lethargic (even though it is 11:30pm and I am still milking my coffee).

I love realizing where I stand, because it often makes me want to stand somewhere else. Food for thought.

Our house is a construction zone. Literally. The bathroom is still under repair (and I thought two bathrooms for five girls was bad ... but one for four Artegliers, that is a sin!) Adopted dog. Named girl dog Petey. Cairn Terrier with a killer face.

Got cold. Blowing nose regularly. Can't sleep.

Accepted job. Start Friday. Good experience/Pays well/Part time. Too concerned with dog to care.

Going to Baltimore. Seeing Boston play. Many hours in car with family.

I started out this week with nooooo jobs ... and I was kinda liking the idea of it all.

THEN

By Wednesday, I have suddenly managed to rack up three pretty potential jobs.

BUT

My luck will mean that none of them work out. Or maybe all of them will ... which means I will have to say no to someone.
