It's been a whole whopping 2 1/2 weeks since Rommel's last groom and I am already itching to groom him again.  For those of you that have pets of your own that require grooming, however often do you do it?  It's driving me nuts that he's growing out, but I'm trying to wait until at least 4 weeks.

Haha. Welcome to New Poodle Syndrome. It'll take while to get over it.

I spent five months growing my mini out for a full out Bichon clip, and it felt like such a long wait. But now I'm getting a little better about the grow out waiting. Just remember, if you grow more hair you can do more with it, and you don't have any weird in between looks going on.

I saw the pictures, looked awesome!
We plan on keeping Rommel in either a short kennel clip (#4 at the longest) or a short lamb clip. It's hot here in TX and, frankly, I want low maintenance. We will keep the mohawk going thouh. LOL

When I had 1 bichon I would bathe her weekly and scissor her every 4th week. Now that I have 3 I try to wash them every 2 weeks and rotate haircuts (so that I'm only scissoring 1 each session). Sometimes I don't have time and they get disgusting, like this weekend. This is week 3 and I don't know if I will get to them today (and I am working all day tomorrow). Send me productive vibes so that I can love my dogs again. D:
