Even in the future nothing works!

Why is everything so much harder than it needs to be?

Just tried to pledge to Pimoroni's Kickstarter project, and it won't let me pledge. I've signed up and got to the payment page, filled in my card details and name/address, but when I hit "Pledge" it just bounces me back to the top of the page with no error message anywhere ( Read more... )

Youtube sometimes works for me. There are some videos it will always work for, and the others it will never work for. I have no idea why this is the case.

That one does not work. This one, however, does. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCkTVESc0fQ&feature=related

The mind boggles.

Sounds like a blocked-Flash-thingy problem - you've given the page permission to do whatever it wants to do?

I'm so eloquent, it's a good job I'm not on tech support! Hope you get the gist- I've had problems like this in the past when NoScript has blocked stuff.

I'm pretty sure it's not a flash-thingy problem. I'm pretty sure I said OK to cookies, and I'd be very surprised if my adblock list stopped anything from kickstarter loading.

That said, this is just form submission that's not working! How hard can it be for form submission to not work? If their javascript is broken or missing, the form should just submit without it. It's a basic part of HTML that's worked for over 15 years now.

This is the sort of thing you'd have to go out of your way to break!
