My computer is ancient, and only has one usb port on the front, in a totally hard to reach spot, and an even harder to reach one on the back. I just unplugged something from the one in the front and inserted my new thumb drive so I could print some stuff

UGH! That's so frustrating. Maybe you could unplug the printer, copy the stuff from your flashdrive to your computer, plug the printer back in and um, print?

Regardless, I'm sure that Gibbs and Abby will make it all less annoying.

That is a possibility, as is trying to hook up the printer to the (also ancient) laptop I was using earlier. Both options involve crawling around on the floor and wrangling cables, and will probably wait until hubby gets home. I've got my trusty notebook and pencil for now. As well as Gibbs and Abby.
