the first thing i thought of....fignewton313February 15 2007, 15:15:41 UTC
it turns out you get whats called a "2nd wave" of growth in your brain right before puberty. (age 12-15ish) that last through til your twenty. this is when strengthening of grey matter and an overproduction of cells happen. so the habits (like studying and exercises) that you have in early teens carry out throu your life.
Which sucks. cuz i procrastinated all through middle/high school, which means it will be super hard to ever break that habit.
and the second thing....fignewton313February 15 2007, 15:23:04 UTC
a ten year old mattress will weigh twice as much than when it was new. cuz of the miscellaneous debris absorbed over the years. it's gross cuz it is the dust mites (their poo and dead bodies), our skin cells, pollen, animal and human hair, lint, sweat, ect.
Crazy, scary, doom of mankind.vista_rottaFebruary 16 2007, 05:28:22 UTC
Fact: Cosmonauts on MIR have discover that our galaxy is drifting into a cloud of energy that we could be in for up to 3000 years. This free energy has caused storms on the sun and jupiter to rage. When the sun rages, it effects the universe. On top of that, our solar system while rotating around the black whole at the center of our galaxy, is about to cross a plane of high potency radiation and magnetic energy, which is predicted to be the cause of the vast climate changes we are experiencing, the shifting of earths magnetic poles(which is happening), and the pattern of global warming-ice age-stability-global warming-ice age...so on and so on. More or less; the craziness on our planet, while partially caused by the burning of fossil fuels and the release of other hazardous chemicals into our atmosphere, has very little to do with us. I could get more in depth, but meh. Check out the am radio night show "coast to coast" for more info.
