AWESOME. That really is exceedingly cool - I've been following similar posts on Andrew Sullivan's blog today. Certainly never seen anything like it on this side of the pond. I really, really hope I'll be toasting America and President Obama tomorrow evening.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Here in Chicago, before work started there were long lines. Two co-workers waited about an hour and a half. I heard some places had lines that took two hours. Christina voted before ten and she was in and out in no time.

Well, there's some debate about that, but I think the official word is that THE Tom's Diner is up near Columbia University. That said, the Tom's Diner in my neighborhood is very (and rightfully so) famous in its own right.
