Agreed. All the movies could use more Snape! But I am biased ;)
I really didn't like DH pt1 but I loved DH pt 2. Snape's scene was difficult to watch, but his memories were brilliant. I want to go back just to see that part again.
I've been melancholy lately and I think a part of it is "the end" of Harry Potter... I realize book 7 has been out for a while, but now that the films are done, it's really starting to sink in.
Snape's scene was difficult, but yes, wow to the memories. I want to re-watch that over and over, perhaps on slow motion so I can see all the nuances. That was masterfully done.
I know what you mean . . . the film had much more finality to it than just reading the final book.
On the other hand, I've seen a few author notes on recent fan fic chapters of authors being wowed by the final film and feeling more inspired to write. Perhaps we will see another surge in fan fics/related now.
That would be cool. I've recently been contacted about my multi-pairing and ridiculous fic, "Duck Duck Goose" and asked if I (and my cohort/author) would consider doing a sequel, and I'm working on finally getting some other things finished... :-)

Yes! As I was watching the film I was reminded of the Snape that I wrote about all those years ago and it definitely rekindled a fondness for him. I'm not saying that I could write another HP fic but I could totally see myself starting to think on it.
