i had originally come across this post a while back when i was creeping on your journal after reading a number of your fics, but was too overwhelmed by the length of the post to actually start reading... i revisited just now because i thought of a similar topic to write as a feature story for my portfolio (and now i think i need to reconsider the topic or narrow it down orz).
