I've seen this site. I was told it was "super funny", but when I went to it I found it anything but. Honestly, I think it's pretty stupid. It's making fun of people for being who they want to be. Who the hell cares if someone is super fat, wearing a weird shirt or have a tattoo or a blue mohawk. While I don't agree that having your underwear or ass hanging out in public is a good thing, why should I publicly make fun of them? It's what they want to do. You're going to run into all kinds of people anywhere you go.
I wear a tail in public. Apparently that website shuns it and I'm suddenly someone to laugh at. There is a photo of perfectly normal female on that website, only thing is she's wearing a tail and ears. That makes you something for someone to laugh at? I don't think so.
You want to be yourself, so why should you care if others are being themselves?
I don't laugh so much as I just oggle at the bizarre fashion statements people make. I dunno about you but seeing douchebags who think they're totally awesome with their "I EAT PUSSY" t-shirts and overweight women who think they're totally sexy with their butts hanging out of dirty daisy dukes is pretty amazing. There are tamer photos, such as the tail/ears one, and I'm not knocking people for what they choose to wear (or not wear) in WalMart, but I'm not going to pretend they're not there either lol.

Well... if they're wearing such a shirt, then yes, I think they kind of deserve some sort of mockery. But most of the photos there are just of normal type people, but most being fat, or wearing some weird clothing. That's most of the photos there. I don't think being fat or wearing weird clothing is something to laugh at. You see it everyday, walmart or not.
And like I said, asses hanging out I don't approve of. I don't like seeing fat people in tight clothing either... but they're out there. And some people like the fat *shrug* You and I most certainly don't think those fat, little-clothing woman are hot, but SOMEONE does and that's probably why they dress like that. ... Ugh. Weird fetishes are weird.
Dude, that website's awesome! I'm not lollin' at anyone (other than the ones with, like blatantly stupid T-shirts on) because those outfits are all radical xDD
Hummm doing badly in my only anthropology course I feel entitles me of answering this question. I see this as a case of people in a social strata shopping up. Much like someone from Walmart "shopping-up" at like a Sacks' 5th", these are examples of scared masses who "shopped-up" from places that usually have "99 cents" somewhere in the title. possibly some kinda of "clothing barn" or "Big ol' Larry's Bag of Clothes"

The you is not directed toward you yourself, but rather toward everyone as a whole.
