Awww this makes my extremely disappointing and embarrassing night in WoW seem pretty insignificant.
We have pretty much the same computer and I think you've had to replace much less of yours, and WoW is still working (miraculously) on mine, so I can't imagine what is causing all the trouble. It doesn't sound like it's a problem with your computer. Hopefully Blizz gets back to you. It might be some sort of bug or error with the files.
Jon got a new (new) laptop (lol) and now he cannot tab out of wow. If he does, he has to hard close it because it won't come back up. I'm almost positive it's the computer (as it's a gateway, and everyone I've known with gateway laptops have always had some problem with it)... but he contacted a gm, and he was suppose to talk to a "tech" gm, but never did (gawd, gm tickets take forever

that is a bummer. But I am assuming Macs work like PCs, I know they updated graphics a few months back but it has been working since then.
have you been keeping any different programs open that are also tying up your RAM? My money is on the RAM personally. Computers do get old, but they should still work, they don't just die, try deleting some stuff I think Miricle said that above. is your RAM even at a gig?
Also i know it sucks if those do not work try reinstalling the game. would you rather not do that or have no game? Brian says it could be soem file is corrupt on your game lie the open bag slot.
I dont know if on macs you can update th drivers... but have you ever updated your graphicvs card driver (may only be a PC thing)
Yeah, Graphics card driver updates are mostly a PC thing. Apple issues the rest with their system updates. But as far as ram, and as far as I am aware. She can not add or upgrade hers, as she has a motherboard issue that is common with her make and model of computer.
I am betting that it is either a permissions, or preference file issue.
Open disk utility, and then tell it to repair permissions. for preference file, go into your hard drive->Users->*yourusername*->Preferences->com.blizzard.* delete all com.blizzard preferences, NO OTHER ONES

and btw... if that doesnt work... reinstall either WoW or OS X... XD sorry, but those are your best options after that, as something else is probably having issues..
I think completely reinstalling the game might be the answer to the problem; reading what people have said, it sounds more like an internal game error than a computer issue.
What kind of error screen are you getting? (Andy was getting this really weird one for a while that would crash his WoW each time he got it, but the errors were dependent on specific in-game elements and Blizz got around pretty quickly to fixing them. so i guess all that was unrelated xD; )
