A hope for good art

The AV Club posted an article about a sequel to Avatar The Last Airbender. This is great news. I'm disappointed that it will take place 80 years after the original series, as there were a couple of loose ends I would like them to have pulled on, but that's a quibble. Which loose ends, out of curiosity? I was personally wondering how they were going to address the extinction of Airbenders aside from Aang, but it looks like he and Katara got busy, so that's covered.

Zuko: "Where is my mother?"

Also, I still think there was more to the story than we saw, that something happened in the spirit world that tainted the Fire Lord's family, perhaps going back generations, perhaps involving Ko the Face Stealer. And what about Uncle Iroh's trip into the spirit world?
