Today, fuschia  came over and showed M and I the first half dozen episodes of Veronica Mars.  I am completely hooked.  This yet another excellent show that I didn't see until years after it was canceled.  Alas.  The writing is witty, yet doesn't feel completely stylized, and Veronica makes mistakes and thus escapes the Mary Sue trap, and even the assholes ( Read more... )

I'm glad you found a new obsession! Aren't they wonderful?

So, on another topic, I do need to get together with you sometime this week for game consultation on my Victorian game, perhaps on an evening when Lija is D&D'ing, which is either Wed or Fri this week. I'll know for sure tomorrow, but anyway, if you have a night off either of those days, that would be cool. Or if there's another day that would be better, other than Thursday. Just let me know. We could even do it via Googletalk, but it might be easier with books in front of us.

I've got some ideas.

Well, for face to face, if I find a sub for the writing workshop, I can do Wednesday. Otherwise, Friday's possible, but I'll know better later this week (store schedule is yet unmade).

Gchat works for other times. Are you set up for vchats? Those are cool.

Regardless, I'd love to help, and I'm excited to hear your ideas.

Well, it turns out that Lija is playing both Wednesday and Friday, so whichever day would be better, just let me know.

I'll look for you later on gchat. I don't know what vchats are. Enlighten, please?

Thanks, and I'll talk to you soon.
