It's funny because Johnny looks how I imagined Grindel (Only with Blonde hair, etc) so I'd be thrilled if it were true.

But that was posted on April Fools (Though that's no reason to discount it) and I've been told that the Brits Only! Rule applied to everyone, not just the main cast.

Though I do hope they allow that one exception for Johnny. ;D

Just read that Johnny's Fansite had posted that as a joke and it was taken for fact.

Still hoping for some HP Johnny though, just because. XD

I'm actually quite glad it isn't true. As hot as Johnny Depp is, I don't see him as Grindelwald. I'd like them to get someone who is less well known and who actually looks the part.

I do, however, hope there are plenty of flashbacks in the movie, with whoever they choose! :D

Have you ever seen the way he looks in Sleepy Hollow? I actually think that it could work, because Johnny Depp is an excellent character actor, I didn't know how many of his movies from early on that I had actually watched until I looked at the credits later on, he totally disappears into his characters.

I don't think it's true though. But Johnny Depp as Sirius Black would have been awesome...

No, Clemence is French. But it wouldn't really make sense to get British actors for roles obviously for non-Brits. Maybe they'll get some German guy for Gellert.

Really? In an interview I saw with her, her accent was suddenly very.. non French. So I assumed she was British. Maybe she can just drop it very well.
