I received missive from my freelance partner, Woody, this morning. Our project was accepted in the Ion Films Festival! Things have been slow in shopping the project around to various clients, but getting into this film festival will give it some much-needed exposure. Looks like an old charlie chaplin film.

If you want to work with some other old footage, I found some stuff on the national archives site. That "cake walk" footage I used in my project from my English class was in that archive.

Good luck. I know you guys have really been working on that stuff and I want to see it get the award (and even better, the notice so it becomes a job!)

The demo is made from old films from the National Archives since all of that is royalty free. The idea is that a company could purchase this and it could be customized to include their own footage, look, and feel - thus allowing the kiddies to make their own shows complete with dialog.

We've had some interest here and there but not much has panned out. I think this is going to be a good boost for us though. Keep yer fingers crossed.

You will love this, I think it's great. Turn up your sound so you can rock out (and no, this is NOT the stupid joke thing where I tell you to turn on sound and some freaky face jumps out at you...)
