Some people seek crazy, sometimes crazy finds you. I'm not sure if I fall into either of those categories, but what I do know is that if I stumble into crazy, I become interested

That is some information my good man! I always had the feeling that that bagger lady hated her husband, it's good to know that my instinct was right. Hell, it was right about the dung thing too.
Engagement rings make me furious. So, question for you grimsooth, could you marry someone who wanted a diamond engagement ring. Or..to put it more expliciately, would you get someone a diamond engagement ring if she really wanted one? Keeping in mind that, regardless of how dumb the idea is, being a part of society is extremely important to many, and it's especially hard, because of environmental reasons, for a woman to escape the idea that what others think are important.
I'm pretty sure I still wouldn't. Though I find it a weird principle to stand on, while I do care about society when it comes to wearing pants or something like that.
But seriously...mind if we twosie that tent of yours during WWIII?

Well, if you were in the area during WWIII, I might be able to help you out... but with you being all the way out in no where, sorry.
Lets just say that the sham that started in the 1940s is now part of what defines a traditional relationship. And I, for the record, have no interest in anything America values simply because America Values it. Here is some other bullshit I won't tolerate:
Lawns (Established to show how rich you are, i.e. you have so much money you don't even need to grow crops on your land.)
A "Wedding dress" (There is no reason to ever own anything that you will only use once unless it is, or would be, life sustaining.)
"Wedding" If the point of marriage is to be together then a trip to the court house should suffice. If you want to have a big party, have one. There's no reason to pay 4 to 5 times more simply because it's a wedding. Corollary 1: If you want to go on vacation, then go. Corollary 2: I would like to go to a white tie party at some point in my life, but I find it unlikely that it could be

...except, instead of trying to make it to some underground fortress that is the last refugre of humanity, I'll be trying to make it to a tent where a jackass is drinking $200 bottles of wine and nibbling on fine cheese
