Last week I had a chance to talk to the dorm people about how the main campus was like, and I told them about this very bothersome statue in the Marian Quadrangle, which really cracked them up.
... because this statue is actually a reminder of the day the Japanese soldiers invaded St. La Salle building. Aside from a lot of civilians who sought refuge in the chapel, some of the La Salle brothers were also victims. The one lying down is a brother who's dying in the arms of another brother.
BUT you never know that until you go close enough to the statue and read the fine print. Otherwise, you'll just think it's gay.
