I echo your love, because more and more Fringe seems like the PERFECT show suited to me. Some people have issues with it at times but EVERYTHING about it is perfection to ke; it goes in exactly the direction I love. :) And OMG how amazing does Anna look in the blue shirt, red hair and glasses?? *_*

They should always show Olivia in glasses! And, yes, everything you said sometimes there are times they make me go 'hmm' but those are few because I am utterly and completely in love with this show!

OMGS YES, ALL OF THIS. I WANT TO BE ARTICULATE AND INSIGHTFUL TO MATCH YOUR POST WHICH MAKES ALL SORTS OF POINTS I HADN'T THOUGHT OF ABOUT DOUBLES AND SACRIFICE AND STUFF, BUT MOSTLY IT SEEMS TO BOIL DOWN TO AN INABILITY TYPE IN ANYTHING OTHER THAN CAPSLOCK SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

OLIVIA. SHE REMEMBERED. BECAUSE OF ELLA.

For reals, I almost died of joy. <3333333 This show, every time I think I'm going off it, it reels me back in.

THIS SHOW! Seriously, this show! For me it just keeps going in a direction I didn't expect and they do it so beautifully!

I was a little dismayed when Peter seemed to be the tether to her home but no, it was Ella who made her believe and remember! And that's just! I love it so much! And, it's just so refreshing to have that, that her connection isn't limited to Peter that her trust isn't on just one person. I love how Fringe shows Olivia (and this is also true of alt Olivia) relationships to her family and friends are just as strong.

I love this post so much. I don't have anything coherent to add but just that I'm in complete agreement with everything you said here. Torv in glasses will never ever get old. :D

SO MUCH TO LOVE! (Both this post and the show, I mean. :D

I'm still so flailing over how awesome it was!

ELLLAAAAA! That scene was so lovely and deliberate and I lit up with joy just like Olivia. *happy sigh*

I loved, loved that altAstrid and Olivia had a scene together and they kind of clicked and altAstrid seemed to have a strange reaction, like it's the first time anyone spoke to her as if they were brainstorming and not just getting information from her.

This was my other other favorite thing! (I, er, had a lot.)

And even with Broyles' wariness, he's still coming to at least appreciate her on the team and yes, yes, every Broyles should like Olivia. It's very nearly another callback to season 1.

Plus, Linc and Charlie and I also love Olivia's Boys and just, this episode. You've got lots of deliciously thinky material here that I hadn't really caught the first time, so I'm looking forward to getting to watch it again with these things in mind.

And hah, I've apparently accidently

I love how this show has these fantastic callbacks that resonate! And, I just... I really love how the show keeps playing with and, at the same time, against our expectations.

Seriously, I think I've fallen really hard for the Redverse! The Primeverse is kind of... really hard to watch now when it seems like the Primeverse story is about the Breaking of altOlivia Dunham.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH THIS EPISODE HAS SO MUCH OLIVIA AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!

Basically YES to everything. And especially to the shot of her holding the "Never Forget" postcard of the Twin Towers. That was meaningful on SO MANY LEVELS.

And OMFG THE GLASSES. Soooo hot. Unf!

THE GLASSES! I always squee when the glasses return because, yes, Olivia is hot with glasses!

I really love how everything resonates in this episode. Actually, they've been doing pretty well with connecting the a and b plots because they make everything line up with whatever Olivia/s going through.

Yeah, well they've been calling the formula for Season 3 "myth-alones" as opposed to "stand-alones" as the case of the week thematically reflects what's happening with the core mythology of the show. (This was the structure of Lost as well, that the flashbacks always thematically reflected what was going on on the island.) I feel like it's a genius structure and I wish it was always like this. But I suppose somehow it just fits S3 so much.
