The twist had me dropping my jaw in surprise and aw and then the look on Chalrie's face! *flaaails* Oh, Charlie.

I think of all the scenarios he was going for, this never occurred to him.

I think it's door # 4 too... and Dani being framed would make Charlie and Dani's paths even more parallel.

I really liked this episode! That's two in a row that I liked, which hasn't happened in a while. Yay!

The next scene? Hooked me back inME TOO. When I read about the show creating tension between Crews and Reese, it totally never even occurred to me that they'd make Crews suspicious of Dani. I thought for sure, with all the very sketchy stuff Charlie has been doing in secret, that Reese would find out about some of it in unfortunate circumstances. But this! Is entirely surprising, which is AWESOME. I was not expecting to be surprised ( ... )

Hmm, I phrased this poorly - I mean, that's what I think as a viewer, with all the information we've been given. But I can understand if Charlie gets suspicious, given his history and more limited set of information. I just hope they don't dwell on that stage for too long, and that the two of them clear things up and move on to TALKING.

On another note entirely, I actually find myself disliking Tidwell more and more as the show goes on. I thought I'd grow to like him eventually, and it's just not happening. It's not even the writing or characterization, which I think could be enjoyable in the hands of another actor - I just can't stand Logue's line delivery. I've never seen the actor in anything else, so I have no basis for comparison, but, augh. He seems to overemphasize everything in a way that really annoys me.

I think these would be one of the times I'd appreciate the way they resolve their cliffhangers and have them TALK already! They didn't use to frustrate me about the talking thing 'cause I thought last season they made a good balance on the talking/not talking thing.

(The roundabout communication comes to mind)

But, I think it's ironic... at first glance you would think that Dani would be holding on to things but when I think about it, it's always Dani offering some information, not about herself but something that would be relevant to Charlie's investigation. While Charlie, who looks open, is actually a lot harder to read and whose real secrets are a lot harder to pry from.

For me with Tidwell, I just wish two things: I wish they hadn't introduced Tidwell the way they did and I wish they didn't bring Tidwell in as the Captain. It's my main beef ( ... )

Oh, man if they're really digging in for an awesome end I'm all in. Seriously.

I was the same thing too. I read about the tension and conflict but I was completely taken by surprise at the way they were going at it. I didn't, for one second think it was Dani's loyalties that would be in question. I thought, like you, it was Reese finding suspicious behavior with Charlie and not the other way around!

Of course, I don't even remotely believe that Dani has been doing anything nefarious that Charlie should be suspicious about - it would be bewilderingly out of character for her at this point.

*nods* I'm in this too, I fully believe that she's being set-up here. God, I've been wanting them to talk in FOREVER! They need to talk dammit and for her to see the Wall. Puryer saw the wall before she did! And I'm also glad that this would finally force Charlie to include Dani and none of his obfuscating.

Yeah, these last couple of episodes have made me feel almost shippy about the two of them, which is totally weird because I don't get ( ... )

What if she knew all along?! Or, at least a very late point along the way?! !!!

I really hope they go with this! I would love it if Charlie realizes that Dani is also doing her own investigations! I mean, I know Dani could suppress her natural curiousity but I think there's a point with how much she could suppress it!
