I'm just waiting for Corpsicle to finish *ahem*-ing and I'm still pretty much in luuurve with Pushing Daisies it is such a fantastic, wonderful, smile inducing show. I love everyone in the cast. "You made me do this" is a defense I tend to associate with creepy, martyr-complex villains à la Misery.
OMG. You nailed what's been bothering me about that line! That's the same line villains use to justify their actions!
And the Ood are going to sing songs about him, and Martha walked around the world so that people would sing his praises en masse, etc., etc.
Exactly. Maybe this is why he needs a companion again so someone could smack him upside the head and go: 'What's this unappreciated business, you mororn? They made candies out of your image!' or some such.
But, yeah, ignoring those annoyances I think I did like this episode... just that I wasn't as invested as used to be which is so sad.
In closing: Eight!!!

It's unthinkable!
everyone on it acts like ADULTS. They communicate, they express their feelings. Sure, they repress and hide, but in the end, they make their feelings known. Ned can easily be a manpain character, and he does have his issues, but Chuck draws him out, and they converse. They all bring their problems to the table and talk it out like sensible adults.
A world of YES! See... you can still make compelling drama without making your characters act like morons. It's the reason why Grey's Anatomy and other shows make me want to tear my hair out.
And I love, love the friendship between Chuck and Olive, I love they went that direction and just for that I want to hug Bryan Fuller and give him pie. Oh, show!

And thanks for catching Ted's stint in prison. I don't know why my mind kept on insisting he was in for four!

I don't know why I'm so fond of the idea of Ted and Dani... not bonding but spending time together.
