It took me a while (too many distractions!) but I just read this all the way through. You did a great job with it - with the case, with Dani, with her history. The relationships feel so real in this.

Um, well... I started this after the season ended and just finished it. Wow, it's almost a month I think since I finished this. Mostly, after the betas I was so nervous with posting this that I read and re-read and re-read this until finally I told myself: 'Self, either your posting this or not.'

So, I did.

Well, this was just an amazing read, girl. AMAZING.

As I said before, the plot points really read like an ep. to me, which is really cool. And, I love the relationship here, which is kind of not surprising at all, with you.LOL

Also, I love your LA, here. I think you did a great job of focusing on the city as another character. Very subtle, but it added a bit of texture to the story and I really admire that.

I hope you'll take a bit of a breather, and start writing again soon, because this is some really great stuff, Grim.

Sorry, I meant relationshipS, from Reese and Crews (of course) to Reese and Karen to Reese and her dad, her mom and loved the background with Leyla and Jack, too.

Yay, also happy that you liked the relationships, particularly Jack and Leyla. It's a complicated thing they have. Family Reese is interesting and complicated and everything in between.

Truly glad you loved this story. Wouldn't have been possible to have LA if it weren't for your help! I'm glad that you got that LA was another character in the story that, in a way, it *is* connected to Reese. LA is in her blood the glamour, the seediness and everything in between.

This story is so good. I can just totally relate to it, I mean, where I live and the stupid shit kids do, but you still love them. I mean, you have to. You broke my heart!
