I'm pretty much the same, I can't pick my absolute favourite horror, and most of what I watch I end up laughing my ass off at LOL I love ones that can completely unsettle me.

I might have to give this one a try, I'm always on the lookout for recs!

Not the scariest part for me, lol. Everytime I hear the Carpenters, I think of the beginning in the Asylum.

In the Mouth of Madness was going to be my answer too!!

The scene where the road goes away and there's nothing under them... I fear that scene because I can always picture it happening when I'm riding on an airplane at night!

I picture that part of the movie on a plane at night too.

That's the trippiest part of the movie, I think, its not really far fetched at all.
