The air was cold and clear when Sister set off on her quest. She filled her basket with food and books and wrapped herself in the warmest cloak she could find. The snow crunched underfoot while she walked and she began to dream ( Read more... )

Mina:

Forgive me for intruding, and I do respect your right to tell me to go away and not be nosy, but... I wonder about what this journal entry means, and if it implies some sort of distress or discomfort. If you need a nonjudgemental ear to listen or offer support, please, please don't hesitate to contact me. I have sent along my contact information privately.

Yours sincerely,
Ailey

Just a nightmare of sorts. I will be fine on this respect, however, I do wish to meet with you to ask you some things regarding a mutual friend. Please let me know if you'll be available for lunch plans tomorrow and if there is a nice place in town we may go away from campus. The food there is lackluster and the setting I find to be rather bleak. I need a change of scenery for a short time and would rather find it with someone I know, even if not overly well as of yet.

I'd be delighted to join you. There's actually a very nice tea shop in town that does high tea, as well as a French restaurant of which I think highly. Does either of those suit?

Yes, either of those would do wonderfully! Shall I call for a car to take us?

I... I do hope you're all right, Mina. I should hate to worry about you. But thank you ever so much for the books, the tea, and the present. I had a wonderful time and would... um, not mind repeating it.

Ron, you are very kind to worry but I assure you that it is not required. I had a lovely time in your company and I think perhaps we should make a standing day and time for our games if you think that would be an agreeable prospect.

Also, you are quite welcome! It was your birthday, after all. Also, I am all too glad to provide gifts to my friends.
