Am I insane for being mad at my dead stepfather? Because I'm fucking pissed and most of the time I tell anyone, they give me this reaction that I'm somehow a terribly insensitive person for speaking ill of the dead. While I did love my stepdad, he was an incredibly flawed and selfish individual and how he died and the consequences of it infuriate

You're not crazy for being angry. Anyone in their right mind would be. But remember to burn through that anger and then let it go. It's not helping you and he just wins with his last selfish act. If anything, I think you could use a vacation. Maybe someday soon, Conner and I could fly you up here for a week and show you the sights. Or you and I could hop the pond and go to a different country. Conner won't be able to go with me most likely, so it would be good to have a battle buddy. Either way, chin up. Don't let the survivors guilt eat you alive. It gnaws at my leg all of the time but I pepper spray that stupid bitch until it lets go. Love to you. Drew.
