Challenge #44 - Pass it on (Drabbles/Icons)
Thank god I'm back. I'm really so sorry for yet ANOTHER disappearing act, but this year hasn't treated me well so far. I had a car accident (and had to deal with a lot of stuff because of it), my phone broke, my dad is in the hospital again and real life just kept me on my feet, so I didn't really have the time to do anything for this community. But hey: At least I have a good timing, because GRIMM is back in our lives too. For the people that are still watching at least ;-) So let's try this again and hopefully this challenge will be fun for everyone, because it's gonna be a "special" one =D
PASS IT ON - Drabble or Icon
Explanation: To make this challenge even MORE fun and an even bigger challenge, you have to put in 2 separate requests, 1 for an icon, one for a drabble, and each of these has to contain 3 (!) things.
For the icon requests it has to look like this: Icon, Meisner, Close Crop - meaning you have to first say what you want, then which character(s) should be on the icon (it can be characters, pairings, whatever), and then you have to choose a technique as well, such as like I wrote "Close Crop" or "Negative Space" or "Soft Light", whatever you want!
For the drabble requests it has to look like this: Drabble, Renard, insight in his feelings about Juliette's death - which is JUST AN EXAMPLE. You have to give a little prompt the next person has to work with. It can even be like 1 sentence, like "Drabble, Renard, "Oh no, you didn't!" - it's completely up to you!
There will be separate votings for the icon and for the drabble part - if we get enough together, and I really hope everyone is okay with the way I'm doing this challenge. I just thought this way no one will get "excluded" and everyone can join in, whether they are better at iconing OR writing.
The point is also that everyone can choose if he rather wants to do an icon or a drabble! That's why it has to be 2 options every "round"... But you only have to do ONE of them, the one you feel more comfortable with!
1st Person can choose between those 2 things:
ICON, MEISNER, VIBRANT COLORS
or
DRABBLE, SEAN RENARD, "I like your shirt"
Due time: February 20th, by midnight - MY time
Rules:
♠ You may submit up to FIVE (5) icons You can do as many icons/drabbles as you want!
♠ You can use every picture you want as long as it's Grimm related!
♠ Screencaps in really good quality can be found here: http://screencapped.net/
♠ Submit only new icons & drabbles. The icons must fit LJ standarts - 100x100 and no bigger than 40 kb (smaller is allowed).
♠ Animations is NOT allowed, but textures, brushes, text and etc. are all encouraged.
♠ Submit your entries in a new POST to the community (yes, that's still how this works)
♠ Please don't post your entries anywhere else until winners are announced.
