After-action polls aren't always telling in the long run, but it does sound like it helped.

The Liberal Democrats have always been far, far behind in most polls, mostly because the public just doesn't see them as a viable option, having been deluded by the media into thinking that the U.K. is a two-party system. This is the highest rating Nick Clegg has ever received, to my knowledge.
