Took my final today and got an A in the class, which means I get the tuition cost refunded.  Turning right around and using that to pay for the summer class, though.  The next class will involve lining and pleating, which are skills I'm excited to learn.  Maybe they'll teach me how to sew in lace too.  That one seems a bit intimidating.

It's ~*crepe de chine*~ not chiffon. Less sheer and more smooth. Unless you're saying you need a blouse LIKE it but chiffon instead. And then yes. It looks like square-neck collars are showing up a lot this year? I prefer them to peterpan.

I'm currently taking a pattern drafting class, which has been a lot of fun. Luckily I have a strong math background so it's been pretty easy.

The pattern drafting class sounds really fun! Are you a mathematician/math whiz? Also, are you taking this class in Japan? That's pretty cool too :D

That is strange, but the dress looked great on you. I usually wear St Mephisto with cream, white, lavender, or brown, so it's interesting to see it paired with a black coordinate. I should try that sometime.

The pattern drafting class has been busy, but lots of fun. I actually have a BS in Biology so I've taken a lot of math classes, and my minor was art, so the combo of both has worked well for drafting. I'm taking the class in the US. I only went to Japan for about 5 days but it was amazing.
