Who: Boomer & whoever's around Where: His neighborhood watch patrol When: Now-ish? What: See the where! Warnings: I don't foresee any, but I'll update if necessary
Kweri had been on her way home from her latest training session at the Arena with the Twins. She had been progressing rather well with her disc training - and her enthusiasm never waned. She normally came back from a session a huge bundle of energy and was nearly flipping over the furniture now.
She was intending on going right back to the apartment she shared with Boomer to re-energize and try and get some recharge, but upon spotting the tall security program wandering down the street on patrol - she got the urge to run over.
"Boomer!" She called - hands waving as she ran down the street - hair flying and all smiles. She didn't slow down any and simply leapt up at him, intending on grabbing on and glomping with giggling glee.
He laughed in turn, not slowing either, just turning to catch her leap, sweeping her easily up to his shoulder as he usually did, all without breaking his stride, "Take it this means your training went well, Little-Bit?"
He figured it was either that or her twin had finally shown up, though he figured if that were the case then Sor would be in sight too, "What are you up to now? Three forms in a row? Four?"
Kweri laughed and whooped when the security program plucked her from the air in mid-leap and swung her up onto his broad shoulder. She was able to keep balanced quite easily, slinging an arm behind Boomer's neck.
"Yes! I had so much fun!" She grinned. "I even tried some target practice....eh...still needs work." A lot actually. She was not accustomed to having to calculate proper angles and throw the disc with enough force for it to hit and rebound correctly.
"I know all the forms for Novice level now! I'm working on the Intermediate ones!" She beamed happily. "I can pretty much do them one after the other without stopping now!"
"Well that's something." He said with a nod, "Target practice was always my weakest skill." He said with a gentle shrug, mostly the side she wasn't perched on, "Straight shots I can handle, rebounds... eh, I can but not so easily, can't calculate things that quickly, never really needed to."
After all, mostly it was his job just to block the exit and make sure nobody got past.
Tron noticed Boomer up ahead on one of his patrols. He smiled as he slowly approached the large security program. He wondered if Boomer had anything to report, being stationed here. Anymore attacks perhaps? Tron has always a keen eye for malfunctions but even he could have overlooked possible threats. He took a few long strides up to the other program.
'Greetings, Boomer. Anything unusual to report?,' his eyes scanned the area they were in.
There was his usual crooked, slow-spreading smile in return, clasping the other program's shoulder, just for a moment, "Greetings, Tron. Nothing out of place as of late." He shrugged, "All quiet on the western front, as the saying goes."
He wasn't sure if that was a User phrase or not as it didn't sound familiar. He nodded. 'Good. I am glad that there is no anomalies to report. It is good to see you again, Boomer,' he smiled up at the large security program. Tron felt safe amongst his presence. He didn't know if it was his size or stature but he seemed to fill the space with strength and awe.
'I was just doing a few patrols myself around this sector. Just to check. You can never be too careful,' he offered a knowing look.

He shrugged again, "Neighborhood's usually pretty quiet though, folks around here look after their own." And each other, for that matter.
