WHEN: Directly after this post/interaction with Quorra. Aadi hasn't seen Lizor since this thread - and its been at least a millicycle and a half (maybe 2) minimum that she hasn't seen nor heard from him - which is a first since her rerezz.
WHAT: Lizor shows up randomly at Aadi's place, knowing that they need to talk about what she ( Read more... )

Her brow furrowed, glancing at the chronometer, she wasn't expecting anyone, and it would be odd for any of the neighbors to be coming by at this time, odd, but not completely unheard of: "Be right there." She called, finishing checking over the damage to her arm again before rolling her sleeve down and padding to the door.

She blinked for a moment once she'd gotten it open, "Li... what happened?" She shook her head then, stepping aside and practically pulling him in, letting the door close itself behind him. She was barefoot, as she so often was at home, and wearing one of her usual shifts, though this one had sleeves that were long enough to cover her hands, "Were you standing out there in the rain?"

Lizor tensed when the door derezzed - not raising his eyes to look at Aadi yet, though he saw what she was wearing and noticed she was barefoot like she normally was in her home.

He opened his mouth to speak - but was pulled inside by the ISO instead, the door rezzing back up behind him. All he could do was shiver as he gripped the staff - so many words he wanted to say but not sure what to say first. He finally nodded, glancing at the artist before lowering his head again. "Got rained on...walking here." He said softly. All he could think of was her face when he insisted that he go home alone when he left the Arena...he swallowed hard. At least she was not angry, it sounded as if she was concerned. She had every right to be upset though, considering what she had witnessed.

"You'll dry soon, then." She said, leading him to the couch, even though she'd only seen it a couple of times, she recognized the aftermath of one of his seizures, and she was hoping that it wasn't something terrible that had put itself back into place.

"What happened?" She asked again once they were seated, keeping her hold of his arm, apparently needing to reassure herself that he was solid and in one piece and relatively unharmed.

Lizor finally derezzed the ends of his staff - his baton returning to its normal state as he clipped it to his thigh. He was positive he'd be able to make it across the room without it, as Aadi led him towards the couch. His limbs may have felt heavy and a little unsteady, but he was still able to walk. Just not at his normal brisk pace.

He sank heavily down onto the couch - keeping his head lowered. Wet strands of hair hung in his face as he gripped his knees, feeling her hold on his arm. "I'm so sorry..." He murmured, figuring that was most important to say first. His voice was subdued, with a hint of a shake. "I did not ping you...nor contact you since I left the Arena. At the time all I could think of was that I had to leave alone....especially after you having to see and hear all...that. I couldn't....I couldn't face you." He whispered softly.

She ran her good hand through his hair, looking concerned still, not minding that the strands were damp against her fingers as she lifted them away from his face, "I didn't contact you either, so I'm as much to blame as you are in that regard." She shook her head then, brow furrowed, "And even though I didn't know what I was going to say to you, I still missed you."
