Love your new art work, especially Gil-Galad and Cirdan. I was thinking that the beard was a mistake (invented before he had elves all sorted out) and Tolkien thought it was too much trouble to remember when and where he talked about it, just easier to say, "Well, it could happen..." Cirdan could not have been any older than any other unborn elves running around so one cannot argue it is old age or there would have been a whole generation of beared elves.
Of course, then there are those who find nasty, scrappy, unsanitary beards attractive, but I am not one of them.
I'm in sensory overload: wonderful photos and new fanart!
I especially like the shot of the garden through the "keyhole" gate.
The drawings are fab as per usual, particularly Cirdan, and you succeeded in making Gil-galad truly look young compared to the elder chap.
In reference to an earlier comment you made on (ahem) my own doodlings, I haven't pulled out the paper and pencils for quite a while. However, there is this cartoony image of the Istar and Samaril sitting in the garden plot that keeps niggling at me. Whether I can pull it off or not without throughly embarrassing myself, I don't know! :^)
Beautiful pictures! Love the photos from Honkong, but most I love the drawing with Legolas. Somehow he comes over more mature and stern there than on other visualizations. Greatly done!

Thank you :D I've been trying to write, but the Muse has decided she wants me only to draw.

Ah well. I can just say that he looks more mature after the harrowing experiences of the war.

It's nice to see one of Cirdan, who, IMO, gets way too little attention.
