[fic] Berserk: Possession [Farnese->Serpico]

Aug 13, 2005 21:18

And so it begins... Apologies for any OOCness. I've pretty much overdosed on Berserk the past few days and all the events are swimming and muddled in my head, not to mention the amount of growth and change that Farnese goes through.

Possession [Farnese-->Serpico] )

berserk, fanfic, farnese, serpico

I like that. :D Hmmm, it could've been a little OOC, I think, but it's not readily apparent or anything. Although, far be it from me to say which part exactly went OOC.

It's hard for me to orient Farnese just because she's changed so much and her sadistic/masochistic tendencies are buried to private moments. Serpico mentions how things change back to "servant and master" between them after he refuses to run away with her and she burns down the mansion ( ... )

I agree with most of your observations, really, and have nothing to add. (I can't sum up my own thoughts, alas) Which maybe why I feel the drabble's slightly off per se....because I don't really see her thinking too much about it, though it apparently crossed her mind at some point.

(And yes, Farnese buries most of her issues)

Wow. I found this from a rec from Tin-san, and I just had to check it out. Berserk fanfic is so rare... and although the pairing is quite disturbing, deep down I'm definitely a Farnese/Serpico supporter, though I know it will probably never materialize. From your comments it seems like you've went over this fic very thoroughly, so I'm not sure what I could add except keep up the writing. Berserk is very hard to write because it is such a complex series... good job.

I was shocked to see that Tin had recced it in the first place. I'm glad that there are other Berserk fans out there; I hadn't known where to look. I plan on writing more Berserk fic in the future. I see it as a challenge since I still have yet to find the "voices" of the characters and Farnese is probably one of the most complex. Thank you for reading and I'd appreciate it if you stayed tune for more Berserk fic.

EDIT: If you're interested, you can find two more of my attempts under the "[fic]berserk" tag.
