And then yesss!!!! HYO!!!! I knew it was her turn FINALLY It started with Genie remix- Sowoneul malhebwa. rofl. She was dressed so hip hop like a cross between MJ and Chris Brown with a huge Taeyang style hat and a big jacket! She did the genie dance steps but isolated and breakdancey. Soo coool! and then came down from the top and there was a big dance crew and she danced to that song.. forget the title "everybody in the club get tipsy" (?) It was awesome though cos as soon as the opening beats started I knew it was going to be good. Sorry Hyobias so this is longer than the others. Her solo was awesome and she showed that she still has all those mad skills from before. There was a far bit of hiphop/popping locking everything..such a blur but there was a move that she did on the floor that was wicked. THe funniest thing was watching Onew and Jonghyun who were being all gangsta and doing the hand and rapping movements Then when her performance ended, Onew threw both his hands in the air and was like "yeah!" OMG Can't wait for the DVD! Can't wait for the concert here next year! God of KPop, please bless us with a fancam, pleaseeeeeeeeee. Or at least an audio record of entire concert, I'll imagine all Hyo's cool moves on my own. :P
*sigh* The concert is coming to you, too. You'll have to write an epic fan account to make up for it. =D Has there been any word when a concert in Thailand'll happen?
Hyo's moves cannot be imagined! They must be seen! I'd take the opposite: video clip without sound. I'll imagine the beat on my own. =D
Well, not much news now. They said that maybe it's in May cause the schools will close at that time. If SNSD fans from neighbor countries plan to fly here and watch the concert, I'm afraid that it'd be really hard to find a ticket but I'll try my best.
Ah, I'll surely write a fan account but certainly not as epic as HYJ's, lol. She raised the bar so high that I don't think any fans can catch up so easily. XD

I'm excited to see any of the solo pieces. The girls sound like they had so much fun and did you see that stage? They were running all over it willy-nilly! I want to see them riding around on scooters and handing out roses and throwing paper airplanes and dancing on moving platforms and just having fun~! It looks like it was blast for the audience and the girls.
I love that Hyo started hopping like a maniac at the end of the SNSD motto. She made me LOL. I can just imagine them and the staff all cheering and their family members and SM-mates coming back stage and there being EPIC hugs and congratulations. <3
OMO, am listening to the fan-recording now. Fans nearly took my eardrums out when TMYW started. The chorus!! It's the practice room video chorus--I wonder how they changed the cheoro? just in: They remixed the dance break!
This is epic. I've slept 4 hours today for an exam, but I'm going to listen to this and stagger back bleary-eyed to spazz, heh.
Etude is remixed too! Not sure if I like the beat, it sounds a bit choppy to dance to, but the cheoro could be even cuter, who knows? Tiffany sounds great here! (Evidently, I did not sleep. Am trying to keep a normal schedule.)
Bit out of place, but thank you to awesome fans like juneunhae who provide such lovely fan accounts that give me enough details to play with in my imagination. (The one about maknae made me squeal three times in the same sentence. 16 going on 17?! Wind-up doll?! Old-fashioned bloomers?!?! The only thing left is to ask: did she have curls and a big bow in her hair?

Hmm, I just had a bad thought about SME: Do you think they made the girls pay for their family+friends' seats? Looking at how mean they can be in contracts, I had a sour taste in my mouth when that thought popped into my head. Eurgh. Think pretty thoughts! Like maknae singing my fav SoM song ^^
Oh, and Sooyoung doing Santa Baby sounds like a perfect choice, already! Someone is doing well in song choices in SME!
On the 2 "new" songs Ok, I confessed I skipped the solo stages so that I could listen to the two "new" songs--I think they're fun, but not title song material? And why are they sliding into early 90s pop territory?! Is this because of the age demographic of their fans?? I must confess, although Kara is a poor second to my first loves, they do manage to have album songs that are old school pop in terms of their runes, without bringing back the cheesy production that plagued early 90s pop. (This feels like the Open Thread with recs, but Kara's unpromoted songs like Us Two, Words I Can't Keep, and Don't Be Shy from Kara1 and Secretly Secretly and Na Neun from Kara2 all fit the "old school tunes without cheesiness" category, I think.) Whereas these two songs veer dangerously close to cheesy, like moving one step towards cheesiness towards Girlfriend which was still ok. Or it could be the quality of the recording that's making me biased

I agree that "Show Me" isn't a song I'd want to see as a title track, but it's a fun song nonetheless. Have read your spazz and will have to compare it to my own experience listening. =) Hope you can get that paper done and at least the exam is over and done with!
