AWWWW YEAH CONCERT THIS WEEKEND!

Seriously I'm really so curious as to what the stages will be like. I'm hoping they got atleast one full day of rest, what with two big award shows just ending not all that long ago. I don't even know. I'mma just try to block all thoughts out of my mind so I can be absolutely 100% surprised when the fancams show up (( *winks at June* ) because I'm damn tired of that SAME CRANE GETTING IN THE WAY OF ALL 5 HYO!FANCAMS IN EXISTENCE!? THE SAME THING HAPPENED IN THE SCHOOL O ROCK PERFORMANCE ARGHHH. IDEK.

Speaking of which, I just watched that news talk clip and realized that the dance break there seems more similar to the one she did recently at the Melon Awards, with the move that makes it look like she's about to fall. Interesting. I do wonder what made them bring that back. She never did a full spin either.

...Also I <3 the girls in long hair, specifically Hyo, but the extensions are kind of killing me softly. D; Something tells me they won't be losing them anytime

I'm not sure if we'll get high quality cams. I was surprised at the lack of quality cams coming out of SuJu's concert for their "Gee" bit. Maybe that was a consequence of it being mostly attended by women, who, if we feel like broadly stereotyping as I am about to in this instance, might not be as technically concerned and/or savvy to provide fancams for those who didn't attend. It could also come to pass that SNSD fans will be cautious and heed the Word of GodSM and not release too much material. We'll have to see. D: (In other words, I'm keeping my expectations in this area low, too. See how SM and the fandom have worked on me

...Damn. I suppose I'm not expecting anything too ridiculously high quality. I just pray to the Gods of Kpop that we just get something with a relatively decent zoom...THAT'S NOT SITTING BEHIND A DAMN CRANE!? HONESTLY!?

Although I suppose that might be a little too much to ask since the K!Gods have already blessed us with two Hyo clips and I feel asking for too much more at this point might ruin my credit. D: The first clip was <333 at the radio show. Even if the guy to the right kind of creeped me out a bit, Hyo herself did well. I'd heard you mention that she did a solo radio appearance but as I avoid most unsubbed things, I never got around to actually looking for it. D; The second link made me lol though, I wouldn't be surprised if Hyo filled her diary to the brim. Independent people usually have to do something to emotionally vent and since she can't necessarily dance away the stress like she used to, something else is needed. That also reminds me of how often the term "powerful dance" is used lol

Cranes are ubiquitous in K-ent? Knowing our luck, there won't be cranes but it'll be like a pillar or something, just so the universe can go, "It wasn't a crane this time!" I'm super curious to see the outfits so I'm hoping for some sneak pics. I saw the concert goods pack and just sighed when I realized they'd done a whole photoshoot with those terrible promo cheerleader outfits. D

Do you have a least favourite member? If so, do you feel bad about it? XD

Hrm. I wouldn't say I have a least favorite member, but I am prone to getting annoyed when I see members being fawned over at the expense of other members. It's not to do with the girls themselves usually, but the fans. For instance, HYJ and I were talking about the boneheaded comments about Strong Heart somewhere above. My annoyance with the fans made me also indirectly annoyed with TaeYeon for all the drama and I have to go through a process of reminding myself that I like TaeYeon. Similarly, comparisons of YuRi vs. Hyo in the dancing department make me get defensive and I have to go through that process of reminding myself that I do, in fact, like Yul on her own. Pitting Hyo against any of the members definitely makes me prickly but I also go through those mind-boggling moments where I don't see how a member could be so overlooked by the fanbase itself

Okay, I'll fire off with my own problems then. You'll listen right? =D I just need to tell someone this.

So like, I never liked Yuri. Sure, she's cute and she's pretty and friendly and sweet and funny and I realised she's a wholly likeable girl but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to like her. I don't know why...I guess she's just not the kind of personality that clicks with me?
I'm one of those people who are all like "power of nine" and all that jazz, but here I was with this very large hole in my fanism. It bothered me.
But out of boredom, I downloaded a show where Yuri was a guest...
And I was paying attention to her the whole time and I thought she was really adorable.
Suddenly I realised, "Oh! I like Yuri!"
I was really relived.
I was surprised. o.o
I felt like I'd been...cured or something. XD

Aw. It's all good. Your story turned out well, so nothing shameful. I think that was me finally coming around to notice Yoong, Taeng, and Fany. It took me a long time to warm to Fany especially and coming into the fandom at a point where Fany has matured so much since their debut really helped that process. I think that if I had been a fan from their debut, it would've been a long time before I could have gone, "Ah, Fany, now you and I can get along."

But with SNSD, the talk about nine really is a thing among the girls themselves and doesn't have much to do with us fans. Whatever we think about them or what the antis think about them, they show us that they want to be with each other.

And if they don't, you'll hear about it in five-ten years, lol.

I always liked Hyo, but after reading your posts I went crazy over her. I watched almost all Hyo's videos in youtube and read every fanfic I could find with her.
Every single morning before going to school I check your LJ and if there is something new I make sure of printing it so I can read on my way to school.
I'm such a big fan!

Hello. =) Thank you for making the effort to say "hi." Your English is very good, loads better than my nonexistent Portuguese!

Hyo is lovable, so I'm glad you're giving her love too. And thank you for reading my posts; it's really just me spazzing and, now that people are visiting and commenting, my hoping that others come to share the spazzing. I'm flattered that you enjoy reading them and that it's encouraged you to watch Hyo more. =)
