Taye Diggs joins "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff

Taye Diggs will star opposite Kate Walsh in ABC's potential spinoff from hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy."

I am! It's not on my friends list, though, because it updates too damn much.

I think this is ridiculous.
I just don't understand why Shonda would want another grey's anatomy with the lead as Kate Walsh...??
I don't know about you guys, but I'm sticking with Grey's.

I think it's WAAAAAAAAAY too early for a spin-off, but it seems like a done deal. Guess we just have to hope for the best. :/ That's what I'm trying to do, anyway.

This is so strange and LAME. I love Addison as much as anyone, but Addison's Anatomy? That's completely cheesy. And Grey's works because of the ENSEMBLE cast. Breaking one off and putting her in another show is a terrible idea.

I agree. Grey's works so well because of the ensemble cast. I don't think that the show would be as good/successful if they tried a spin-off now and took some of the characters off the original show :(

Frankly I think Kate Walsh would be a much stronger lead than Ellen Pompeo..however spin offs are rarely successful and that alone makes me unsure about this idea.

Kind of odd to read this news though after my last post on this LJ (a week ago) said the show should be called Addison's Anatomy lol
