Hiatus?

I tried to find this out somewhere else but no such luck.

Is it true that there's a hiatus after 'Some kind of miracle'? And if so how long?

Ick. I can deal if it's just two weeks (and there's no cliffhanger after 'Some Kind of Miracle', but if it stretches to any longer than that, I will be distraught. I wish I was over-exaggerating- it is sad, how little of a life I have. At any rate, the "at least" worries me.

only one week off. because after this thursday the 22nd, there is the 1st, and then the 8th which is when the folloing ep will play according to the site.
gotta love february being a short month.

i guess that makes sense to me. one of the spoiler posts before the ferry boat arc started said something like 'they're still filming it, THAT'S how huge it is' That would seem, to me, to mean they're still filming the rest of the season. So, I guess a little buffer time makes sense. But maybe only in my head.

22-24 episodes stretched out over a 36 week season means reruns or no episodes during some periods of time, usually over the holidays and March/April. It's been this way for as long as I can remember, why are people so shocked when it happens every season?

They usually take breaks after sweeps. And since February was such a big month for tv shows, that's why a lot of them are re-running for a couple of weeks.

i agree, i'm confused as well.
