yeah this was a good episode just because it had some lightness in it, some progress and some healing. Im so glad arizona is starting to forgive callie, because I love their relationship.
But I also enjoyed the scenes from next week showing that the trauma of the plane crash is still going to effect them in unexpected ways... I honestly hope it does all season - not ALL the time all season, but just sneaking up here and there, like it would in real life.
Agreed! I enjoyed this episode a lot except for the creepy sex with Rex Van de Camp. I love how Merideth is also really coming into her own as a surgeon too- they often show how awesome she is with patients, but not actually in the OR.
I also like Jackson/April more than I would have expected. Season 5 they would not have worked, but now it's cute and hot. Sex with your best friend can be waaay better than that mess that was Gizzie.
I concur! I did enjoy this episode. I love Cristina's interactions with Mr. Feeny, and totally didn't catch that her sex friend (which I just realized is pg for f*k buddy) was Rex Van de Camp!
I agree with seeing Meredith as a surgeon; she's always been the daughter of "Ellis Grey!" and it's nice to see that her awesomeness is shining through both professionally and personally.
It's nice to actually 'see' that all of them are growing into attendings, especially as when they were residents they still had an 'intern' air about them.
I will not speak of Gizzie, lol. Out of sight, out of mind. (But I agree with your mess assessment)
Also, I like the Chief and Jackson's mom, but I might be biased because Debbie Allen is flawless.
I disagree, I found this episode extremely boring.
The only storyline that was even remotely interesting was Christina with the old surgeon guy, realizing that he did have valuable information to share and did have some worth. It's understandable, she has daddy issues, so it isn't surprising that she would bond with an older man - the father she never had.
The rest was ho-hum. I enjoyed the most recent episode of PP so much more. At least stuff happened instead of just characters having sex with other characters, characters mad at other characters, etc.
