What really helps getting on board is watching Kim Raver on Lipstick Jungle. Before you watch her actually have romantic chemistry with a character you can't picture it, but watching that show was a warm up so I was not displeased when Mark and Teddy's chemistry screamed off of the screen.
Does the fact that Meredith and Derek are "happy" now mean they get no screen time? I watch this show because it's Grey's Anatomy, not Everybody Else's Anatomy.
Other missing characters in tonight's episode included Alex, Lexie (whose hair was blonder than usual), and Cristina.
I liked Owen a lot more when he first got on the show. Now he just annoys me and I feel as though he's constantly dragging Cristina down.
Mer/Der are having less this season because the woman who plays her just had a baby. She asks for time off and to have a smaller role until next season.
They already seaid next season they will be in it more.
I wasn't really digging this episode. I don't know, it didn't do anything for me. I wasn't like wow. But i think next weeks episode with Alex's brother coming will be better than last nights episode. It's sad but Greys anatomy used to be my favorite show and private practice was my second favorite, but now private practice is a lot better than Greys.
Did anyone else just LOVE the scene with the Chief (yes, I know he is not the chief anymore but how can you refer to him as anything but) was about to being surgery and said to Alex, "If I wasn't happily married, I'd hit her," in reference to the nurse? That was such an amazing scene! I loved when Bailey came in and stopped all the shenanigans!
Really, truly don't care about Owen's war-drama. How can he have so much baggage and be so unable to function in the real world but Teddy is so normal? Seems a little disproportionate to me.
PTSD impacts everyone in different ways, so it makes sense that Owen could have all the baggage and Teddy could have none (or a lot less). However, I don't understand how he could realistically practice medicine if the PTSD is so clearly affecting what he does as a doctor.

Loved the cafeteria scene. And, I might actually be able to get on board with Teddy and Mark after that kiss. Kinda hot.
Meredith is in Whoville. Hee!
